It took me a while to realise that my art was whimsical and once I did I sunk into it with relish! I like to imagine a world where if we just stopped for a moment and took the time to look, we'd see mice pegging out washing or having a cup of tea sitting on an old up-cycled trap.
I like to tell stories with my makes, always when putting together a piece I am thinking 'where is the story..?', 'what would a mouse use for this..?', even I dare say 'what would the mouse be thinking!'.
And joy! I hope my makes fill you with joy and make you smile for that is why they are here.
And yes, I do dream of them. Frequently.
